1 · Where to Find It

Top navigation ➜ Generations. The table lists every generation across all tools and repositories.


2 · Layout at a Glance

Filename
Generation type Which tool created it (GitReadme, GitDocumentation, Converter, etc.).
Created by Team author or Me label.
Tag Custom, user‑defined labels for grouping.
Generated (click to copy MD) Inline snippet; click once to copy the raw Markdown.
Created at Timestamp.
Row Actions Manage · Add to Spaces · Download · Share.

3 · Searching & Filtering

  • Global Search (top-right) — matches filename, tags, or generation text.
  • Filter Funnel — dropdown with:- Generation type selector (All, GitReadme, Tests, etc.).
  • Hide Archived toggle.
  • Show only my generations (teams).
  • Active filters appear as chips above the table; click the to clear.

4 · Row Actions Explained

Action Purpose
Manage Opens the Version Manager view (see §5).
Add to Spaces Drops this doc into a chosen Space page.
Download ⏷ Choose Markdown or PDF.
Share Generates a read‑only link with optional expiry.

5 · Version Manager

The Manage view shows the latest generation in full and a Versions sidebar.

Key Features

  1. History panel — click any version to load it.
  2. Set Definitive — marks the current version as the official one used in Spaces.
  3. Edit — launches a rich Markdown editor for manual tweaks; saving spawns a new version.
  4. AI Modify — enter a prompt (e.g., “Remove the changelog section”) → Modify; a new version is created with the changes.
  5. Top Toolbar — Expand, Download, Actions (Add to Space, Share, Archive).

6 · Tagging for Organisation

  • Click the Tag cell, type a label (e.g., v1.0, Backend, ClientDocs), press Enter.
  • Filter by tag via the search box.

7 · Best Practices

  1. Use Manage, it's very powerful.
  2. Archive noise — archive superseded drafts so they stay hidden with Hide Archived.
  3. Copy‑to‑clipboard — quick way to paste Markdown into pull‑request descriptions or tickets.
