Find and fill documentation gaps

Use Autopilot to keep existing Git-backed documentation current. It processes relevant repository events and can suggest changes to existing pages or propose new pages for review.

Review repository-driven suggestions

  1. Open the Space's Autopilot page and review its Connections and Activity.
  2. Confirm the linked repository, branch, trigger events and path filters match the source you want maintained.
  3. After a relevant repository event, open the suggestions and review the target page, explanation and proposed diff.
  4. Apply a suggestion only when your account and Space permissions allow it, then check the saved page.

Understand access and scope

Eligible Trial or Pro accounts may preview suggestions when preview access is already available. Preview does not grant permission to apply changes or manage production repository links. Those actions require appropriate Enterprise or Unlimited access and Space permissions. Auto-apply also depends on rollout availability; use the capabilities shown in the app.

Connecting a repository does not guarantee historical backfill or a complete repository-wide refresh. Autopilot evaluates relevant incoming events, branch and path filters, and the documentation it can maintain. For an unexplained gap, inspect Activity and troubleshoot missing updates.

Make deliberate page edits

Edit a page directly for a wording correction, reader context or a deliberately authored topic. A separately requested Agent page edit requires its normal review and approval. Manual edits are separate from repository synchronization and do not apply an Autopilot preview.

ZIP imports and CLI uploads are snapshots without ongoing Git synchronization. Generating or importing another snapshot does not automatically replace existing pages. Starting a new full-codebase generation creates another Space; it is not an in-place refresh of this Space. To refresh this Space against its branch, update documentation from the Space Overview.
