Configure Autopilot notifications
Notification settings tell reviewers when a repository link has produced documentation suggestions. They are configured per link, separately from account-level webhook subscriptions and lifecycle email preferences.
Set up a channel
Open Autopilot → Notifications for the Space, select the repository link and enable notifications. Choose the available channels, provide any required destination URL and save.
Email and supported external channels have different entitlement requirements. The UI indicates which are available to the Space owner. External channel options include Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and a generic webhook where enabled.
Incoming webhooks and the Slack Agent
An incoming webhook posts notifications to a channel. The Slack Agent is a separate integration for private conversations and approved actions. Installing or linking one does not automatically configure the other.
Treat channel webhook URLs as credentials. Obtain a supported destination from that service and paste it only into the notification settings.
Generic webhook
For a custom endpoint, configure the URL and optional signing secret. Verify signed requests using the raw body and the documented signature format before parsing the payload. Do not assume re-serializing JSON produces identical bytes.
For broader account events, use account webhooks and their event subscriptions instead of a per-link notification channel.
Troubleshooting
Check the link's notification master switch, selected channel, destination URL and entitlement. Also confirm a new batch was actually produced. Turning off link notifications does not necessarily unsubscribe lifecycle emails; use the unsubscribe controls supplied in those messages.
