Organize pages and folders
A Space collects related documentation in one navigable tree. Use folders for categories and pages for content that answers a specific question or task.
Create a useful structure
Start with an overview and getting-started page. Follow with common workflows, then reference material and troubleshooting. Keep names concise and distinct so readers can choose a page without opening several similar titles.
Use the Space's item controls to add a page, folder or external link. Move pages into the relevant folders and adjust their order. An external link is a navigation item pointing elsewhere; it is not an editable local document.
Maintain the hierarchy
Rename a page when its purpose changes, and review incoming links before removing or replacing it. Avoid putting essential instructions only in a folder name; readers need a content page that explains the task.
Pages can be authored manually or populated from generation results. Use Generations when adding a previously generated artifact, or documentation gaps when proposing source-backed additions to an existing Space.
Check the reader's path
Open the Space as a reader and follow the first few tasks. Confirm the ordering makes sense, references point to the expected pages and no navigation item promises content that is empty.
Use sharing settings only after reviewing what the whole Space exposes. If you need separate public and internal material, organize it into separate Spaces rather than relying on folder names to restrict access.
