Search documentation and ask questions

Use search to locate an existing page, then read its context. Use an AI question when you need an explanation across the documentation you are allowed to access.

Search effectively

Open the Space's search control and enter a task, feature or distinctive term. If results are too broad, include the component or workflow name. Check the selected Space before assuming a page is absent.

Open the result and verify the page actually answers the question. A snippet is a navigation aid and can omit qualifications that appear in the full document.

Ask a question

Ask a concrete question such as “What configuration is required before enabling SSO?” rather than “Explain everything.” When available, follow cited document links and check the supporting instructions.

For source-aware assistance or actions across Spaces, use the Platform AI Agent. Searching documentation and searching linked repository source are different operations; tell the assistant which evidence you need.

Access and availability

Results respect the relevant Space access. Public readers can read a public Space, but public Ask AI availability depends on the publisher's entitlement. Copying a public page does not require the same entitlement.

A new or recently edited page may need time before its searchable content is refreshed. If a result looks stale, open the page itself to inspect the current text and report the mismatch with the Space and page names.
