Use the Platform Agent

The Platform Agent helps you find answers in your documentation and perform supported DocuWriter tasks from a conversation. Use it when you need an explanation grounded in your Spaces, help finding the right product workflow, or a reviewable change to existing content.

Start with a specific question

Open the Agent in DocuWriter and identify the Space or document you want to use. For example: “In the Engineering Space, explain how deployments work and link the relevant pages.” If several pages have similar names, ask the Agent to list them before choosing one.

The Agent can search and read accessible documentation, list pages, and search connected source code when needed. It also searches DocuWriter’s product guides for setup questions. Your account and team permissions determine what it can access.

What it can help you do

• Find and explain architecture, implementation, and operational documentation.
• Draft and propose changes to pages, create content, and organize Space items.
• Review Autopilot suggestions and prepare supported repository-link changes.
• Work with generation history and prepare supported generator runs.
• Review and manage supported team, integration, webhook, and AI-preference settings.
• Prepare an editable support request for an issue that needs human help.

Read-only requests can return immediately. Changes, generator runs, and support messages use approval controls. A proposed action has not happened until it is approved and the Agent reports its result.

Know when to use the browser

The Agent guides you through provider authorization, repository/file selection, initial tree review, account security, billing, and downloads. These tasks may require your interaction in the product. It should distinguish a navigation instruction from a completed operation.
