Manage saved generations and versions

Open Generations to find saved outputs from DocuWriter's generators. Use it to review drafts, select a definitive version and reuse outputs in Spaces.

Find an output

Search using the filename, tag or content. Use the available filters to narrow generation type, archived state or your own results in a team context. Clear filters if a known result appears to be missing.

Review versions

Open Manage for a generation and select a version from its history. Edit the output manually or use AI modification when you need a new generated revision. Review a version before marking it Definitive; this identifies the version used for generation-backed content.

Generation version history and independent manual Space pages are different records. Editing a Space page is not a promise that the original generation's entire history has changed.

Organize and reuse

Add descriptive tags to group results. Use Add to Spaces to place a result in the right documentation collection. Download Markdown or PDF when available, or create a read-only sharing link with the expiry options shown.

Archive superseded drafts to reduce clutter. Archived results can be found by changing the archive filter and restored through the available action; archive is not the same as deleting your documentation.

Before sharing, check the actual content and recipient access. A generated output may contain project information that is appropriate internally but not publicly.

See Organize a Space for the ongoing documentation structure.
